Then one day I forced myself out.

No plan. No destination.

Just… outside.


And something shifted.

Not huge. Just… lighter.

Like my brain unclenched a little.


Now I try to step outside daily.

Even if it’s just:

  • Standing on the porch
  • Walking around the block
  • Looking at the sky like I’ve never seen it before

It sounds dumb. It helps anyway.

It sounds ridiculous.

But it rewires your brain a little.

I used to think I had to earn rest.

  • Finish everything
  • Be productive all day
  • Then maybe relax

Which is funny because… everything is never finished.


So now?

I rest when I need it.

It’s a small shift.

But it makes everything feel less heavy.


📱 Step 6: The Social Media Detox (That I Didn’t Fully Commit To)

Let’s be real.

I didn’t quit social media.

I just… adjusted.


Because scrolling sometimes feels like:

  • Highlight reel overload
  • “Why is everyone thriving except me??”

So now I:

  • Take breaks (short ones, I’m not a monk)
  • Unfollow stuff that makes me feel bad
  • Try not to start my day with it

It helps.
